George W. and the election

It’s true. I have finally voted for a Democrat for President. This is somewhat traumatic for me. During this election process I constantly changed my mind between the two most popular candidates. Every day I would hear a new revelation that would sway me from my previous position. Then, two days prior to the election, the hat dropped. In an interview a reporter asked George W. about evolution. His comment, the jury is still out on evolution. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!! What jury; is the OJ Simpson jury back together again. Certainly that is the only random group of twelve people capable of such a conclusion. Is it possible a person with any biology education does not think evolution is not a valid theory? The only people with this thought that I am aware of are right wing extremists that think the Bible is a scientific publication. These same people use pseudo science to create whatever conclusion they feel is just; no matter how wacky the reasoning. Is this the type of person we want leading our country? I would not let this type of person do anything that might affect anyone in my life. Is the rest of the world looking at the USA and laughing that the best person we could find to run the Presidency is a person that either can’t understand evolution or refuses to understand it because it doesn’t fit into his right wing beliefs? Either way I think it is embarrassing if this is the best person we could find to fill what is arguably the most important post in our government.

Lethal Injection

Angel Nieves Diaz was executed in Florida this week. The authorities botched the execution so bad it took him 34 minutes to die. Everyone is upset he may have been in pain during this process. Florida and California have suspended executions using lethal injection. ARE YOU PEOPLE NUTS! This guy was a career criminal that ended his career with the death of Joseph Nagy. That’s right he killed someone. Joseph Nagy was someone he didn’t know, someone that had never harmed him. He was simply in the way of Angel committing a crime. Angel and his buddies are responsible for this man’s death. Is this the guy I’m supposed to be concerned may have been in pain when he died. No way. Has anyone asked Joseph’s family about the 27 years of pain they have suffered without their loved one? Angel deserved to die, he was put to death, it wasn’t perfect, no one intended for him to feel pain, he may have felt some pain, to bad, end of discussion.
